Waiting for You is the newest addition to the Annapolis Harbor Series and is the story about Alex and Ava. They have known each other their whole lives because his sister, Savannah. She is best friends with Ava. The story begins as Alex comes home to Annapolis, MD to work for several weeks in the hospital whole working on his residency. He will go back at that point to NYC where he went to school and finish his residency there to be a doctor.

This is part of the series as Ava is Juliana's sister, in the previous book (Crazy for You) Juliana got together with Nolan when he helped her with construction on her B&B and Ava her sister was going to run it. The book opens up at Nolan and J's wedding and they hired Alex to play some music at the reception since he is back in town. throughout the book we get to see some scenes with J and N and J's two twin daughters which was kinda fun.

While Alex is in town he decides to live at the B&B and so he gets lots of time to get to know adult Ava and her him. This is a forbidden romance as Savannah has never wanted her bestie to have a crush or feelings for her annoying older brother. So when these two decide to explore a friendship and maybe more its done in secret.

I enjoyed this story a lot. It has hot doctor Alex and Ava who has always crushed on him. They start out as friends but things get romantic as time goes by. But because Ava is so close to his parents and sister, its a forbidden romance. Added to the fact that Alex will be leaving in a few weeks.

This story is low on drama and moves at a slower pace than other books in the series. But I really enjoyed getting to know Ava and Alex and his sister Savannah who will be featured in the next book in the series.
