This is the start of the authors new series and I am so excited about it. I cannot wait for more characters in this series. This series stars a group of men who in their youth had a rock band that was very successful. But when the only female member, Suzie died, they fell apart and got buried in their grief for her. Over the years they have gone their separate ways professionally but still are very close to each other.
This is Zaxton Monroe's story and he is a CEO of a fashion house owned by his family and he was the man who was in love with Suzie and wanted to marry her. Eight years later he is still broken hearted about her until a young intern enters his life, Lia, who is a model, and fashion designer and who was once upon a time Zax's stepsister.
This is an age gap story as Zax is about nine years older than Lia. He ends up having her as an intern at his company and there is a mystery element about how that ended up happening and why. Zax thinks it has to do with the father he does not trust.
This was an awesome story, and I could not put it down. It was intense, hot and very romantic. Zax is a good guy and I loved watching him fall hard for Lia and her him. She has not had an easy life and so I was totally rooting for her throughout this story.
