This is Cannon West's story. He is the head coach and a widow who lost his wife 9 years before when she died of Cancer. He has pretty much moved on but as head coach, he is extremely busy and has no time for romance.

He meets Ava at a coffee shop, and he ends up in a relationship with her. But it's very casual. This book has a lot of sex scenes, and they are really hot and fun. 

Throughout the book Cannon says he just wants casual, but he also cannot resist the very sexy Ava. I loved how open Ava was and how laid back she was. She was the perfect person for Cannon whose career is very stressful and as the story progresses Cannon lets down his walls for her.

There is a bit of drama as Cannon's mother-in-law has not really recovered from her daughter's death. This is a story about love, friendship, forgiving yourself and moving on. It was a wonderful second chance for love for Cannon and Ava was absolutely awesome.

This is book 4 in the series about a bunch of guys in a motorcycle gang that gets out of jail in Florida. We don't really know anything about the two prime characters when this book starts so it easily stands alone.

In this book we meet Alice who comes from a rich family in town. They own a harbor gas station, and a pizza shop. Alice actually works for Ettiene whose story is told in a previous book in this series, but her father also relies on her to run the gas station. Cassius has known Alice a VERY long time and has always had a thing for her, even when she was too young for him. Alice has just as strong a crush on him, but he avoids her at all costs. 

Why? well, he is afraid of the power of love. He was sent to jail when his mother died, and he got very angry. Now he is out but his heart is too broken, and he feels that he and Alice come from very different worlds, and she is meant for someone better than him. But he also can't resist her pull and so he is there for her when she needs him. I guess you can call him her hero.

If you think he sounds awesome, then you are right. Despite his fear of love and Alice, I adored him. This is awesome opposites attract, age gap romance with lots of suspense and a HUGE surprise near the ending.

I really enjoyed this book and Ivy and Lou. This is a standalone story within the series. Both characters are new, though we do see characters from previous books as they are siblings of Ivy.

In this book we meet Lou who is best friends with Alex who is married to Willow and Willow is Ivy's sister. Ivy is living in Highland Hills with her father who is recovering from a heart attack and Lou is also staying with them. 

Lou is a book publisher/agent from NYC, and he has a scandal in his past related to his fiancée and his job. Ivy is a romance author who has a horrible mother and some friends who betrayed her. She is working at the town bar, and she befriends Lou.

This was a hysterical funny story. I cracked up in so many different places. I loved how Lou and Ivy first become friends and I loved watching their double date. 

This was a slow burn romance between beauty (Ivy) and her beast (Lou) and I loved when they got together and how much they support each other on their way to romance.

I have never read this author before but wow I totally loved this book so much. It was a wonderful friend enemies romance between two people who knew each other in a small town and now are in college. It's also a forbidden type of romance because Savannah is close friends with Justin's ex.

In this book we get to know Justin who grew up in a small town and had a terrible reputation. He was accused of cheating on his girlfriend and also cheating on a test. He did neither but no one in the town believed him at all.

Savannah crushed on Justin but then he ended up dating her best friend until he cheated on her and hurt her friend. So, when they end up at the same college, she hates him because of what he did to her friend.

That is until she starts to get to know him and sees that one mistake doesn't define him or anyone. I loved the message of this book of forgiveness and moving on and finding love. 

Justin is this absolutely awesome guy. I loved how much he cared about Savannah and how he is always there for her through everything. This was such a romantic and awesome story that I fell very hard for the authors story and characters. I LOVED this book so much!!
