A brand new standalone hate-to-love, brother's best friend hockey romance.
My new roommates are two pro hockey players.
First, my manwhore older brother, and second, his seriously hot best friend (who I seriously hate).
This was a last resort.
No one should be sleeping on a futon that smells like Cheetos and ball sweat.
But here I am, trying to get my life together.
Tristan Stiles is the bane of my existence.
He never wears a shirt.
We can’t seem to stop fighting.
He’s an arrogant playboy with a filthy reputation.
Sure, I had a crush on him when I was fourteen, but that was a long time ago.
I know better than to trust him.
I just need to survive long enough to find a new job and get a new place.
And not accidentally let Tristan rail me into next week.

About Helena Hunting
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of PUCKED, Helena Hunting lives on the outskirts of Toronto with her incredibly tolerant family and two moderately intolerant cats.
She writes contemporary romance ranging from new adult angst to romantic sports comedy.
Rix and Tristan were just so much fun, along with lots of hate and angst. This is a brother's best friend, roomies to lovers, growing up together and hating each other and a sports romance all in one.
This is a very long story. I liked the length as we really get to know the full cast of characters of this series and we also really get to enjoy Rix and Tristan's romance.
This story begins with three major characters, Philip (Flip)who is the bestie and also Beatrice/Bea/Rix's older brother. He is kind of gross and has a lot of growing up to do and is extremely immature. But he is also a good brother and when his sister needs help, he is there for her. And thats how she ends up moving in with him.
Rix is our heroine and she is awesome. As we get to know her we see the issues she faces and one big one she shares with her brother is the fear of being poor, not having enough food and we see how that affects her and Flip. Tristan grew up with them so he understands her fear. While he had plenty of money, he did not have the home filled with love that Flip and Rix had. While they had not much money, they had plenty of love.
Tristan is a very complicated character. He LOVES Flip a lot and he actually owns his own condo and Flip is his roomie. There really is not a room for Rix. So she kinda hears everything that is happening in Flips roomie which at times is very cringe. From the minute Rix moves in, she is all he hears and sees even when they hate each other.
This book was filled with witty banter and lots of extremely hot scenes and flirting. It also has a huge cast of characters with lots of connections and cute nicknames. To keep everyone straight I had to create a little chart. I highly recommend you do that because it is a big cast. I loved them all a whole lot. Like Tally who is the coaches 17 year old daughter but who Hemi, Rix and Hammer love hanging out with. Then there is Hammer who is 19 and an intern but also the daughter of a hockey player and she lives with her dad. (I cannot wait for her story). And I also adored Hemi, who is the team publicist but who also has a hate thing with a guy on the team.
This was a really awesome book and I loved this new start to the series.
