Chance Encounters by Jessica Prince

Read Today!
(Free in Kindle Unlimited)

Chance Encounters, an all-new romantic comedy from Jessica Prince is available now!!

There are three kinds of nerdy women in the world.
- The Sexy Nerd
- The Confident Nerd; and
- The So-Socially-Awkward-it’s-Painful-to-Watch Nerd.

You can probably guess which one I am. After witnessing me making a fool of myself, Chance Hoffman decided to take pity on me. He’s smart, sexy, charming, and totally out of my league… and for some unexplainable reason, he wants to help me. Who am I to say no? Besides, I need all the assistance I can get.

There are three things that make a woman irresistible.
- Confidence
- A Wicked Sense of Humor; and
- A Killer Rack.

Melany Fitzgerald had none of those things. Or so I thought… until I really got to know her. She’s the total package and she doesn’t even realize it. Now I’m stuck with the uncomfortable task of helping her land another guy, all the while trying to ignore the fact that I’m starting to fall for her.

She thinks she’s an ugly duckling and wants to become a swan. All I want is her. And I’m not giving up without a fight.

Addicted 2 Romance Review

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I am a HUGE fan of this author and this book well.....words can't even describe how much I loved this book. I think its  a gift to her readers. Those that have been reading the series, have watched Chance get dumped several times by some characters we loved for other characters we love. So this is his story and well Melany is beyond perfect for him. This is one of the best friends to lovers and ugly duckling stories I have ever read. Seriously I beyond loved it and I think its the best one in the series.

This book is part of the Locklaine Boys series, Chance is the hot lawyer that works with Devon and Richard. Devon and Pepper were two ladies he tried to date but who ended up with Locklaine boys.

Devon's story is in #3 Almost Perfect and Richard's is in Opposites Attract #2 ; Pepper and Tomas are in this book alot too which is from book #1 Fire and Ice. Can this book stand alone, I totally think it can but there are a lot of side characters from the other books so I'd suggest reading them first but if not definitely read Devon's because her and Collin are in this book ALOT.

This book starts at an engagement party for Devon and Collin. Melany is Collin's shy assistant and her crush, Logan is attending who also works with her and Collin. Chance is attending with a date as he was invited after becoming friends with Collin and Devon.

Melany, is our shy duckling. She has no self confidence and she dresses horribly. But she also is really bad at social events and she has foot in mouth disease with Logan and Chance. However, Chance feels sorry for her and offers to help her. His first step is dressing better.

And thats how Melany and Chance start hanging out and being friends. Melany doesn't just get Chance as a friend she also gets Devon and the whole Locklaine gang and one night she gets drunk with them.  The next morning Chance wants to make her feel better so he comes to her house where he discovers how bad her home life is, and he rescues her from that.

That is when they get even closer and before you know it things get heated. BUT Chance still thinks Logan is the man that Melany wants and Melany thinks Chance would never be attracted to her. Well lets just say they are BOTH are in for a big surprise and that is all I am spoiling on this beyond wonderful story.

About the Author:

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That's why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy--she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she's also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books--romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it's a passion...there's a difference. Not that she'd expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
