Duke of Manhattan by Louise Bay

About the Book

Duke of Manhattan, an all-new contemporary romance by Louise Bay is available now!!!

I was born into British aristocracy, but I’ve made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom.

Back in Britain my family are fighting over who’s the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it’s me--if I’m married. It’s not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman.

Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I’ve never wanted -- so I need a wife.

To take my mind off business I need a night that’s all pleasure. I need to bury myself in a stranger.

The skim of Scarlett King’s hair over my body as she bends over . . .

The scrape of her nails across my chest as she screams my name . . .

The bite of her teeth on my shoulder just as we both reach the edge . . .

It all helps me forget.

I just didn’t bargain on finding my one night stand across the boardroom table the next day.

She might be my latest conquest but I have a feeling Scarlett King might just conquer me.

A sexy, standalone romance.

Addicted 2 Romance Review:

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book is part of  3 book series and I have read them all. They are actually the only books I have red by this author.

Book 1: is the King of Wall Steet and I LOVED it. So much it stars Harper and Max. Max is a single dad and has his own company. He hires Harper and things go from there. In this book, book 3 Max and Harper are mentioned alot so I would definitely read this first book.

Book 2: is Park Avenue Prince and it was enjoyable but nowhere near how much I loved the first book. It stars Sam and Grace who are in book three for I think one or two scenes. So if you never read this book, you won't feel like you are missing anything.

Book 3 is the Duke of Manhatten and OMG it was the best in the entire series. I LOVED Ryder and Scarlett together. They have a marriage of convenience that I beyond loved. They became best friends and teamates and everyone can see as they fall for the other,. Only they have no clue. Yep they are the last to know and I loved this entire book. It is one I know I will re-read.

The story unfolds in a wonderful manner. We meet Ryder as he rushes to his grandfathers side after he falls. There he finds that in order to save his company he must get married so if his grandfather dies, he inherits the Duke title and he gets to keep his company.  He hates teh idea of marriage and until he meets Scarlett he doesn't even contemplate it.

Scarlett and Ryder meet at a bar. She has been divorced and her husband was the love of her life but he dumped her calling her boring. So we meet her as her and her sister are having a drink. That is where she meets Ryder and has a one night stand with him.

The next day they meet professionally and OMG those scenes were so terrific. Scarletts business loans are up and Ryder's compan wants to pay them off and buy her company, but she does not want to sell. And so a bargain is made.

These two, together well they become friends and have the hottest sex ever. There are TONS of sex scenes and they are HOT!!! But while thats happenin they are also talking and falling in love though they have no clue.

I loved watching them become friends and have each others back. This really is the best of the entire series and I beyond loved it. If you like a story with love, family, friends and finding your best friend then you will love this story.

About the Author:

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels - the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful and Hopeful and the novella series' The Empire State Series, What the Lightning Sees and Calling Me. The novels and together the series are stand-alone although there are some overlapping characters.

Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.

Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn't have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
