When my best friend Aubrey asked me to tag along to an event
with her, I never could have imagined that it would be the day that my life
changed forever.
He’s arrogant and demanding and doesn’t take a hint. Landon
Barker, the quarterback for the Hermosa Beach Trojans, is a player on and off
of the field. He’s got his sights set on me as his next play, but I see right
through him. Aubrey says I’m overreacting, that I should give him a chance.

This is a story in the Vi Keeland Cocky player world and we visit the football team again for Lucky Bastard otherwise known as LB. In this story we meet characters from Cocky Bastard CB and Chance and Audrey and Chance is a kicking coach for LB or Landon who is a nfl quarterback and Emma is Chances wife, Audrey's best friend and coworker at an animal shelter in Hermosa Beach, CA. The two women visit Chance and meet the team on family day and as soon as LB meets her he wants a date but Emma does not want to date a player.
Its up to LB aka Landon to chase her and try and get her to give him a shot and he was adorable in the efforts he went to, to get her to date him. When they finally get together they are so adorable together. Landon was a pretty awesome guy and I loved how totally into Emma he was.
This story was well written and fun and I loved it. It sweet and romantic and a adorable football player falls for the average girl. There is a big secret about Emma's past and I totally saw it coming a mile away. But it did make the story extra fun too.
