This was a really awesome story about falling in instalove after a hot night together after meeting on a blind date. The heroine, Linda ends up working at the same company as the hero, Jason but he is in love when he hires her so its more about the blind date than that he ends up hiring her.
The connection to the Vi Keeland Cocky NYC world is kinda strange in this book. It is connected in two ways, the first is that the heroine is Linda and she works for Graham Morgan and he fires her and humiliates her when he does that by screaming get out of here when she screws up at work. Later he gives her severance but still he was very mean to her. The second, is that Graham's wife to be, Soroya knows Jason, who ends up hiring Linda because Soraya had dated him. When Linda sees Jason with Soraya she gets upset. And Jason is also friends with Graham and when he gets together with Soraya the book includes a scene that all four are friends. It was weird because no one mentions how Linda was fired by him.
This story features Linda, an assistant that gets fired in a nasty way and her bestie is gay and insists she needs to meet his boyfriend brother who is a hottie. Meanwhile she hunts for a job but its tough to find a job after being FIRED. When Linda meets Jason, they both really like each other but Linda feels like she needs a job before worrying about love and Jason falls hard for her that night. The next day she shows up to an interview and he hires her because wants to get to know her better.
This was a very light and easy book and I enjoyed all the characters. Its very insta love so be sure and like that and you will love this story.
