COCKY HERO CLUB
This is my first time reading this author and I am a new fan. This story was super romantic and HOT. But by the end of the story I was swooning it was heavy on the romance.
It stars Linda and Asher both who know and work with Graham. Asher is his good friend and work associate and Linda is his assistant. They have a wild night in Vegas and then Asher sorta treats her like a one night stand and forgets they got married. Then the story picks up a year later. Asher and Graham have a resort they want to buy but the owner wants to only sell to family men and so he needs a wife/fiancee and thats when he learns he had married Linda.
I really liked both characters. Asher asks her to be his trial wife for 3 months and Linda agrees to give it a shot and so the fun begins as they adjust to married life and really see who the other one is.
This story seemed to center a lot on appearance. Linda is a bit different in that she has tattoos and colored hair and many times throughout the story she is treated very badly for that.
When Linda finds out the why of Asher needing a wife I loved that she makes him really work for it. The book also has some surprises along the way and I loved some of the twists and turns the book takes.
