I'm a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. I loved this book so much and it was just so hot, romantic and sweet that I could not put it down. Its book 2 in a series, of which I never read the first book and it easily stands alone.
It stars two besties since they were 15 years old and very much opposites, Caroline is the shy, homebody and Cooper is the party guy and extrovert. They met as teens and were neighbors in Florida and went away to college in Colorado together and thats where they live now as roommates and best friends.
Its 100% platonic and they have an amazing relationship until Caroline sees Cooper naked, not once but twice. It was definitely some of my favorite scenes.
I adored watching them go from friends to lovers and watch how that worked for them as they have a relationship beyond just friends. That is until Cooper makes a mistake....
I truly loved this story and its because I fell hard for how awesome Cooper was. Caroline was pretty wonderful too and she was well matched against Cooper.
