This is my first time reading this author and well color me impressed. I absolutely adored Rachel and adored Travis and even Gavin, Rachel's ex husband. The kids involved in this story are adorable and are perfectly characterized in this story. You can tell the author is a mom herself.

This story stars, single mom Rachel who co-parents with her ex husband Gavin who is engaged but very much is absent a lot. He has two brothers and two very involved parents and so while her twin sons don't see their dad a lot they do see his uncles and grandparents.

Rachel also has some awesome friends and a very busy job where she is a virtual assistant for numerous smaller businesses. Every summer she gets a break when her ex takes the kids for two months while they spend the summer at a beach house with his family. Only this year he cannot make it and his family asks Rachel to come instead with the boys.

Meanwhile Travis, Gavins brother has a small crush on Rachel and so when they spend a lot of time together well lets say it gets very complicated and thats when the book becomes a lot of fun. 

I usually am not a fan of the brothers ex getting together or flirting with exes but this was so well done that I kinda enjoyed that aspect of the story.
