This is the start of a new series and its star is Lynwood who has popped up in other Vale books. He is now Mayor and he has a town to clean up and a he needs help. So he creates a motor cycle club called the Souls Chapel Revenants MC. Each member of his club has a very specialized skill to fight corruption and he springs them from jail. In addition he has some guys who help him as he tries to right his city.
Six Innes is very wealthy, very quirky and a bit on the Goth side. She has a blog and she loves nature and sharing nature with her blog followers. She also has a rich father who is very disapproving and who drags her to fancy dinners she hates going to. And thats how she meets Lynwood for the first time. She thinks he is a boring suit and he so isn't. Its not until she runs into him on hike that she sees how hot and different he is.
This story was fascinating. Both L and S are fascinating characters that are both VERY quirky in all the coolest ways. Their path to romance was very twisty and I adored reading their story. There are serious moments and laughter as L and S get to know each other. I cannot wait to read more in this series.
