Alexia Chase’s Unraveled is a fast-paced, emotionally charged, sexy, contemporary romance written in K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes Worlds project.
I have not read the Heroes series by Bromberg and I have never read a book by this author either so I did not know what to expect but I absolutely adored this story and loved every second of it. I fell in love with Chase's writing and her characters.
This was a really awesome small town romance with a hero, Kameron, who is only in town temporarily and the girl that grew up in a small town of Sunnyville, Layla and adores everything about it.
We also meet and get to know some other characters that Chase has written in her own series and I loved meeting them so much that I started reading them as soon as I finished this book.
When these two meet it is not love or even lust, its grumpy Kameron and happy Layla and it takes a few times when they run into each other for the attraction and lust to form. But when it does oh wow! But Kam is only in town until his cousin who is lending him his place comes back to town and Layla is a permanent resident and adores everything about her small town.
If you adore grumpy characters, Kameron is awesome. And I loved how hard he eventually falls for Layla. Layla while she seems happy and uncomplicated. She is very complicated and I loved how cute she was and her banter with Kam. Inside she is lonely and wants to find love but she has her standards.
If you love small town romances with grumpy heroes and heroines that show them the light, this was a wonderfully written story with laughs, and more!
