Bryan Hunter’s biggest mistake was letting Isla go that fateful day. He was a stupid college boy back then, but he’s a changed man now. He’ll do whatever it takes to win her back. Now he just has to convince Isla that she can trust and maybe even love him.
She fled humiliation. He’s a changed man. Can they make a happy ending out of a bad beginning and get a second chance at love
her Verlangen series under her Dutch name Stefanie Van Mol.
She loved writing so much, she kept writing. Say You Want Me, the first book of her Full Moon series.
She won the Brave New Book of the year Award in the Netherlands in 2016 and decided to translate the book to English.
This was a really awesome story and I absolutely loved it. It's a second chance for both Brian and also Isla but also their romance that never really happened.
It was also a really fantastic hate to love story on Isla's side as Brian really did her extremely wrong in the past. At times I had a hard time overlooking how he treated her and so I totally understood her side of things.
In this story Isla is a party planner to the stars. She also has a best friend who is pregnant and needs a party planned for her family's company and begs Isla to help her brother who is the CEO plan the event.
Brian is the midst of a divorce from the nightmare of an ex, and he knows he picked the wrong choice way back when. He was friends with Isla at one time and wants her to forgive him and for them to move on.
I LOVED that Isla does not make it easy on him. I loved watching her torture him. If it would have been me, I would have never forgiven him. So, can she really forgive him?
If you love heroes that redeem themselves then you will love this story. Brian was a good guy, but he made some really big mistakes. It was really fun and interesting watching Brian try and get Isla to let it go and let him make up for it.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. And I did like Isla and Brian too. I really liked that the author made him work hard to earn her forgiveness.
