This was the start of a new series and I absolutely adored it so much. I cannot wait for more stories in this series. Its a second chance at love, single mom romance and takes place in a small town of Balsam Ridge.
This is the story about Taeli whose husband cheated on her and ended up getting that person pregnant. Damon is a total idiot and in a way it was a blessing because it woke Taeli up and made her realise that maybe she deserved better and her son deserves better. It wasn't just the marriage but it also opens her eyes and makes her see that she also had a lot of fake friends. So she goes back home to Balsam Ridge.
In Balsam Ridge she ends up spending time with the Tuttle family. They are kids she grew up with and also close family friends. She meets Graham Tuttle. Graham was older so she did not know him well. When she gets a job working there and her son spends time with him, well an attraction is born.
Graham himself is a widower. He had wonderful years with his wife but he has been alone for the last 11 years and until he meets Taeli no one has caught his eye. Graham doesn't just fall for Taeli but also her son as they all spend time together getting to know each other.
This was a wonderful tale. The characters in the story are church goers so we get a few sentences about g-d and faith and blessings etc. But it was very light on that aspect. It also is a bit of a slow burn story too as Graham gets to know Taeli before anything happens romantically.
This story had all the feels and I LOVE THE TUTTLE FAMILY. It also featured a wonderful cast of friends reconnection, family and love. It was an absolutely awesome story and I cannot wait to go back to Balsam Ridge again.
