Luke is the architect brother and he believes in working hard and having fun. He likes his singles life and loves his family. He meets Megan one night at a bar and they hit it off but Megan is starting a new job and wants to give it her all.
And thats where this book gets interesting because she also meets Luke the next day as she is his newest intern. This is a romance between the boss and his intern after one very hot night. Usually in these boss/employee stories its a very forbidden thing but this book was really different in that its not a forbidden relationship. Its more of a second chance romance with an age gap angle as Luke is Megan's much older boss and she is his new intern. In addition, Megan wants to win this contest and Luke ends up being her mentor and partner in the project.
I really liked where the author went with this storyline. There was a bit of insta lust in this story as Luke falls hard for Megan pretty fast. I also loved seeing Megan connect with Luke's family and I loved catching up with them.
