Broken Boys Can't Love by Micalea Smeltzer (Jude and Millie)

Broken Boys Can't Love by Micalea Smeltzer is live!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Off-limits.

That’s what Jude is to me.

My older brother doesn’t trust me with his player of a best friend.

Which is totally fine, because I’m not interested.

As Jude and I reluctantly become friends, I start to see that there’s more to him than others notice. But I still won’t go there, not when I have a crush on someone else. But Jude’s the perfect person to help show me the ropes when it comes to the opposite sex, besides it’s not like he’ll get attached to me.

Except he does.

And the thing about broken boys?

They’re way too easy to fall for.

This was an awesome forbidden romance between brothers best friend and his little sister. In this story Millie is Cree's baby sister, a virgin and also a college freshman. Her brother is Cree, a senior and older brother whose best friend and roommate is Jude, who is suffering from a broken heart and who only does one night stands.

Trouble comes when Millie moves in with him and his friends and ends up sharing a bathroom with Jude. Honestly, I thought Cree was an idiot expecting nothing to happen with his little sister if he has her sharing a bathroom with Jude. His whole argument of how innocent and pure she was, and he knows sharing a bathroom was an issue and yet he insists she shares a bathroom with the guy who has sex in the room next to Millie. It was insane and that he expects her to hear him and share a bathroom and nothing major to happen was just asking for trouble. In this book Cree was an idiot.

Jude on the other hand becomes a friend to Millie. He is an awesome guy to Millie and to his younger brother Jonah. He takes both of them under his wing and I loved how he was with both of them. I did not love that we see him have sex with several other girls in the story and Millie is subjected to hearing them many times.

Millie was an awesome character and I love how she ends up fighting for herself and also a relationship with Jude. The author made this a a double forbidden type of story and I am not sharing how that happens as you need to read it yourself.

In this book we also get to glance what the next book is about and wow I cannot wait for Daire and Rosie's story.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
