Hating the Player - Campus Wallflowers #2 - by Rebecca Jenshak (Violet and Gavin)

ABOUT THE BOOK

Hating the Player by Rebecca Jenshak is now live!

Gavin Leonard is the worst.
He lives in the best party house off campus at Valley U, overrun by jocks galore.
I live next door, watching Jane Austen adaptations with my sketchbook in hand.
He stays on his side of the fence.
I stay on mine.
Now we're accidentally on a camping trip together, but there's only one tent left.

Gavin Leonard is the worst.
And he's the last guy who broke my heart.

This was such an awesome romance I think its my favorite in this whole series. Its a second chance, enemies to lovers, neighbors romance that was so much fun and enjoyed this story from beginning to ending.

Violet and Gavin were in love as freshman, but he had a really bad night and decided to get drunk, and he ended up in bed with Violet's evil roommate and she has hated him ever since. He has no idea what happened, but he ended up losing Violet and he feels really bad about it and she HATES him. (If you read the previous book, Tutoring the Player, you know this)

But now that Violet's roommate and cousin, Daisy is dating Gavin's roommate and best friend these two cannot avoid each other. And when Gavin comes to Violet's rescue several times she has to decide if she can manage to forgive him and become friends again....

This was a wonderful story and Gavin was a wonderful leading man. He was really into her and he made a terrible mistake and I really liked that he owned up to that. The ways he comes to Violet's rescue were just so wonderful that he had me swooning and made me love him even more.

Violet and Gavin had an amazing chemistry and I loved that she made him work for her heart and forgiveness. I loved that he felt so bad about what he did and that he really tried so hard to learn from his previous mistakes.  I loved that this story was about learning from past mistakes, growing up, moving on and love. I absolutely adored this book so much.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
