“Hi,” he said, low and gravelly.

I turned on him, making sure to narrow my eyes into slits, determined to gain my anger back after meeting the lovely Hazel, because I’d be damned if I let him get away with the silent treatment he’d been subjecting me to.

This was an awesome story featuring Asher who we have met in other books in the series and it's her second chance romance, runaway bride romance with her exes best friend. 

It has HOT scenes, is full of romance and has two adorable dogs that save the day. There is some angst and some drama and even some suspense. Plus, some new characters I really loved. 

In this story we get to know Asher. She is a sweetheart, maybe a bit too sweet, kind and giving. She is also an awesome dancer and thats how she fits into this story as she is a dancer at the nightclub Whiskey Dolls. We meet her as she is pulling a runaway bride when her fiancée runs away and crawls thru a bathroom at her wedding's venue.

And that's when she ends up running into her ex's best friend, Owen who she always thought hated her. Owen sees his chance and decides they need to become friends and he hopes this will get her to finally see him. 

One of the biggest themes in this story is to not judge a book by its cover. Owen seems like this hot, tattooed guy who is a veterinarian but inside he is a huge nerd and doesn't really see that he is HOT and wonderful guy!

This was a really fun story and I really enjoyed watching Asher fall for her nerd and I adored the two dog heroes in this story. If you love runaway brides, second chances and falling in love then you will love Stunner!
