The worst thing a guy can do is fall for his best friend’s little sister, so
imagine when all three of her overprotective brothers are your friends. It’s a
simple rule to follow: don’t look at Lucy the way she looks at me. And when she
returns, unplanned, to our small town of Bluetop, keeping her off-limits should
be the least I can do. After all, the Blisswood brothers made me an honorary
member of the family, they gave me a chance when nobody else would. All the
more reason why I can never admit that I wish I didn’t have to stay away from
Lucy and her persistence.
And in a moment of weakness, I don’t.
Lucy has always understood me like no other, and we both share wounds and
secrets—including what’s transpiring between us. Soon we find ourselves finally
confronting what feels like a romance years in the making. I know it’s a
betrayal to her brothers, and I definitely won’t get points for what I do with
her when she’s wearing only my shirt. Not to mention, Lucy deserves Bluetop
royalty, not me. But when I get life-changing news, Lucy’s determined not to
let go. She makes me feel special, and I know that I shouldn’t push her away.
Because I’m finally discovering that what Lucy and I have… makes me feel I may
finally be worthy of something beautiful…

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Evey Lyon hates folding laundry and decided one day to avoid it by writing witty and a little steamy stories. Her stories take you on a light and bantering ride until the very end, when your couple finds their happily ever after. Along the way, there may be the occasional emotional twist thrown in and the essential appearance of a bottle of whiskey. Evey has a thing for witty women, determined well-dressed men who fall in love, and the steamy scenes that bring them together.
An American from the Midwest, she now lives in Northern Europe with her small pack of humans. She believes the essence of balance is sitting on a yoga mat listening to music whilst eating a donut. And she absolutely loves finding a new book boyfriend to swoon-over, hearing from other authors, and connecting with people who read her books.

This is a wonderful series finale and I loved where the authors next series goes. We are introduced to a new character in this book, and I am not sharing who it is, but I loved him so much and while this is the last book in this wonderful series, we will still see more of these characters in the next series.
This is Drew and Lucy's second chance romance. They both were introduced in the first book, but Lucy was still in high school, and Drew was off by himself, and he had a few years on her. But she was too young, and Drew has always known how awesome she is and never wanted to taint her.
In this book Lucy is back from college and Drew has always been her ideal guy and so this is her story about convincing Drew to take a chance on them. In the first book he was a bit of a lost soul at a crossroads but in this book, he has found friends and brothers and a job he loves and going after Lucy could destroy all that, so he tries hard to resist her.
I loved that Lucy is all grown up and I loved watching her come into her own. Honestly, she was very mature in the other books. But here she is ready to live her life and we get to watch her follow her heart and her dreams and I loved her so much.
I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
