ABOUT THE BOOK

So It Goes by Jennifer Probst is now live!

Two people with little in common but business give pleasure a shot in a charming romance about fate and taking chances by New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.

The truth? Lonely advertising rep Malia Evergreen is still waiting for a soul mate, marriage, and a family. The lie? Telling every busybody she knows that she's met someone. Now it's a matter of finding him. Malia needs a date for a wedding. In a pinch she strikes a bargain with her former client, CEO Palmer Matterson--an arrogant, defiantly single, alpha billionaire whose best quality is insincerity. The perfect fake date.

Palmer has wanted Malia from the first moment he saw her. A challenging, sexy career woman who knows what she wants. It's just not him. Not yet, anyway. This is Palmer's chance to win her heart.

As fate throws them together, Malia unravels the layers of the man she thought she knew and, against the odds, finds herself falling in love. Palmer's falling too. If only they can convince each other what they share...a belief in a happy ever after.

This is the second book in the Twist of Fate series, but this is the first book I have read in the series. I felt it easily stands alone and I never felt lost that I never read the previous book.

In this story we meet Malia, and she is single. Owns her own business with a bunch of friends and is starting a business with her friends where she finds corporate sponsors for charities.

In this story we also meet Pamler, he is a CEO of a wedding planning business and is a tough businessman. He has been a sponsor at Malia's business and when she tells him she is leaving and moving to the new business, he has to try and convince her that he likes her romantically.

Malia at the start of this story dislikes Palmer A LOT. He has been a pain in the neck, and she is excited never to have to work with him again. When he expresses his feelings, she is a BIG NO to ever dating him.

And the race is on. Palmer has to convince Malia that he likes her and would make a great date. She really does not like him and when she needs a date for a wedding and he needs one too, he convinces her to let him pretend to date her.

For Malia timing to date Palmer is really off and so she knows it would never work. Palmer has a fight ahead of him in convincing her that it can work, and they are really good together.

I really liked this story and the characters. There are some real issues with Malia, and I liked how she decides to face her future and take control of it. She is one tough cookie and I liked how she makes Palmer work to get himself a date.

Palmer is a very strong and confident guy. He is surrounded by women, and I liked how confident he is as he lives in a primarily womans world as a wedding planner and with his sisters. He really was a different and special guy and I loved that he saw how awesome Malia was.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
