ABOUT THE BOOK

It all starts with a bucket list and a romance novel…

I’ve known Ryder McAdams my entire life.  We’re neighbors and our families are besties.  He’s also friends and teammates with my younger brother, Maverick.

But Ryder and me?

We’ve never been close.  In fact, I’ve always gotten the distinct impression he doesn’t like me very much.  He goes out of his way to ignore me.

Know what makes it worse?

The electricity that hums in the air every time our gazes collide.  It sizzles through my body until I feel it in the tips of my fingers and toes.  Whoever said that you can’t control who you’re attracted to was, unfortunately, right.

I’ve done my best to stomp it out.

We’ve been at Western for three years and only come in contact when forced to interact.  He’s busy partying it up and getting it on with his fangirl club.  I’ve spent most of my college experience studying at the library so I can apply to the med school of my choice.

One drunken night changes everything when Ryder takes me home and finds the bucket list I wrote before freshman year.

Know how many things I’ve ticked off since then?

Zero.  Zilch.  Nada.

For some strange reason, Ryder decides he’ll be the one to help tackle each item before graduation.

That would be all fine and good, except there’s some pretty schmexy stuff on there…

Like the big O.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book and the characters are connected to two previous books the author has written.

Hate to Love You is about Juliette's parents Brody and Natalie

Campus God is about Ryder's cousin, Brooke and her romance with Crosby.

This is a brother's best friend romance as Ryder is Maverick's best friend and he is Juliette's younger brother. In addition, Ryder and Maverick are roommates and they all three grew up together as neighbors. Even though Maverick is all that we only see him a few times in this story. I don't think the author has written a book for him yet.

Jules is a very good girl. She is graduating and has a list of things to do before graduating and she has done nothing. She is in pre-med, and all her time has been about studying and good grades. But she also has a best friend and roomie, and she convinces her to live a little and attend a party. That is where Ryder runs into her and when she gets sloshed, he helps her home and discovers her list.

Ryder grew up around Jules and her brother. He has always had strong feelings for Jules but avoided her because he has never wanted cause rifts in the family's close relationship by following his feelings for Jules. That is until he needs a distraction, and he finds the list and thinks it will be fun to help her with the list.

This is a sports romance as Ryder plays hockey at his school. He is a great player but is having a horrible season and has a coach who hates him so the list gives him a distraction, so he doesn't get obsessed with the coach who hates him.

This was a really fun romance. Ryder and Jules were really awesome characters. They are good people but while their brains tell them not to follow their lust, their hearts say go for it. And the list provides a way for them to break the ice and have some fun times together as they get to know each other as adults. I loved them so much and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It's filled with laughs, romance, a hot and sexy guy and some really fun list items. Ryder was super adorable in the way he got Jules out of her head, and I loved how Jules supported Ryder.
