This is Stone and Ryleigh's story. They actually meet in "Made for Romeo". I highly suggest you read that first, so you grasp who they are and who their families are. The last scene in Romeo is one of the first scenes in this book. But Ryleigh is featured heavily in Romeo so it's a great intro to her and her family. 

In this story Ryleigh and Stone meet and he falls hard for her at first sight. She not so much. He is a great guy, a hockey player for a team in Tennessee. She is a criminal lawyer who lives in Chicago and has dreams of being a DA. In this book he does a lot of chasing, and she does a lot of resisting. 

They have a lot of family connections, but they also have a large distance separating them. They both are very strong and stubborn characters. They have big dreams but they both are lonely. A career does not cuddle with you and make you warm inside. I loved watching these two very strong-willed people, start to let the other in and open their hearts to the possibilities. It was not an easy journey but one that was worth everything. I really loved this book and story. It was hot and sexy but also gave me all the feels.
