This is Everly Sinclair's story. She is the daughter of Declan Sinclair and his ballet teacher, wife Annabelle. She has a twin sister Gracie and three younger brothers. 

On the night of her 23rd birthday she is celebrating at the bar owned by Maddox when she meets single dad and hockey player Cross Wilder who is 31. Cross has a younger sister, Bellamy and a hockey playing brother, Ares and an infant son, Jax, 7 months old and a cute daughter about 3 named Kerrigan, who loves princesses, tutus and ballet.

Cross also has the cutest name for Everly, Cinderella. Why? well you have to read this story to find the answer to that question. But I totally adored the nickname and why and how she ended up getting it. There are also lots of fun nicknames in this book, from Madman to Evil Twin and Good Twin to God of War. I truly loved the cute nicknames. 

I also loved Everly and Cross's relationship from their meet cute to how he finds her again. I loved how their relationship moved, even while each has their own fears.

A side plot is that something happened to Everly. Its off screen from this book. But I loved how brave Everly is in how she chose to deal with it. I adored Cross and Ares on how they want to protect her. I also loved how supportive Cross and Evie are for each other no matter what.
