“H. Hunting pens a heartbreaking tale that leaves readers absolutely breathless from beginning to end. One of her best books yet!”

Little Lies, an all-new, angsty and emotional new adult romance from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting writing as H. Hunting is out now!
I don’t want you.
You mean nothing to me.
I never loved you.
I turned my words into swords.
And I cut her down.
Shoved the blade in and watched her fall.
I said I’d never hurt her, and I did.
Years later, I’m faced with all the little lies, the untruths, the false realities, the damage I inflicted, when all I wanted was to indulge my obsession.
Lavender Waters is the princess in the tower. Even her name is the thing fairy tales are made of.
I used to be the one who saved her.
Over and over again.
But I don’t want to save her anymore.
I just want to pretend the lies are still the truth.

This is a coming of age romance set at a college and stars Lavender, who is Alex and Violet's daughter from the Pucked series, and Kodiak, who is Rook and Lainey's son from 'A Lie for a Lie'. We also get to meet some of the siblings and children of all the characters in the Pucked series.
Before I begin, I need to say that I read Alex and Violet's book and I read Rook and Lainey's but I have not read any of the other books in the Pucked series. That said I felt that this book easily stands alone and I did not feel lost at all in this story.
This story starts with Lainey entering college, and her living with her twin brother River and her other brother Maverick in a house. The guys are big partiers but she isn't and so she kinda hides in her room a alot. Kodiak lives in a house a few houses down from them and at one time he was super close with Lavender but the parents intervened and separated them. Since then they have had an adverserial relationship and he hurts L in the early parts of the story. It is done with love to keep her away from him because he believes he is bad for her and thats the lies he tells her.
To be honest the first part of the book was not my favorite. They both love each other so much but they both are fighting it and lie a lot about their feelings. I want to mention there and no other relationships with other people in this story. There is jealousy and this book has a lots of angyst but its not because they date other people.
The second part of my book is when K finally sees how much L has grown and changed and that she is strong and doesn't really need him anymore. And thats when I fell in love with this book. L is a kick ass heroine and when they finally makeup I loved how she makes K work for it and she tortures him so wonderfully.
This story is not big on laughs but it has tons of young love and angyst and a very heartfelt romance. It is told in dual POV and I loved getting to know their family and friends as the 2nd generation.
