Lost without You By Lea Coll

Lost without You by Lea Coll is now live!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Avery
Opening a law firm isn't at all what I thought it would be. The landlord is arrogant and irritating. Despite his sexy voice and smooth demeanor, I want to fight him at every turn. Everything with him is a battle--a battle I intend to win. After all, I'm an attorney who never backs down. But when he needs my help, I can't possibly refuse. Who could? Thrown into a role he knows nothing about can't be easy.

Beneath his gruff nature is a broken man who needs to be put back together. The last thing I will ever do is let someone destroy him more.

Griffin
A cheating fiancรฉe and a backstabbing best friend are not the worst of my problems. When my brother dies, I'm thrust into the life of a single parent. In over my head, I'm forced to seek help from the lawyer who fights me every chance she can. Avery Arrington is a smart-mouthed, feisty woman, who can win my case. Powerful, intelligent, and sexy, I want her in ways I've sworn off for good.

But right now, it's all about my nephew. He's my top priority--the only thing that matters. Now, I have to put all of my faith and hope in Avery to save me—save us. I rarely trust anyone. But the truth is, without Avery, I'd be lost.

This is my first book by Lea Coll and consider me hooked. It is book 2 in a 3 book series and each book covers a new couple. The premise of the series is that 3 woman in Annapolis open a law firm. They get this great rent price but its so low that its a mistake. Griffin is the owner of the building and he has just lost his dear brother who was a single father when the lease was signed and he tries to fight the women for a more realistic rental price and instead they sic Avery on him.

When he needs legal advice as he has just become guardian to his nephew he decides to meet Avery and ask for her help. Up to that point they have only had nasty phone calls so thats why they both have hate feelings for the other. But when they meet they really start to see each other and an attraction is born.

Avery is a woman who aside from her law partners has never seen or found love. So somance is a hard thing for her. She doesn't feel worthy of love and so Griffin has a tough road ahead of him to get her to accept and learn to love.

I adored Griffin. He has been hurt by love and has had a huge blow when he lost his brother. But his heart is amazing. He opens it to love his nephew and he wants something special with Avery and he is willing to fight for her heart. I absolutely adored him.

Avery I felt needed counseling. She is this wonderful woman that is clueless about relationships and love. She is a great character with a beautiful and pure heart but she has a tough time accepting love from others.

I am totally in love with the characters in the story and I am going to read the first book and cannot wait for the last book in the series. If you are looking for a fun and light romance then this is a wonderful story with intriguing characters.
