Rumor Going 'Round - Lyrics and Love #3- by Samantha Lind

ABOUT THE BOOK

When rumors start circling,
Do you walk the other way?
Or give them something to talk about?

She was the one I always secretly wanted
But it was never meant to be,
I landed myself in the friend zone.

He was my high-school crush,
Who grew up into the single sexy dad,
Putting his life on the line with every fire he fought.

One spin around the dance floor has our friends talking,
Wondering if we could get any closer.

We blew the rumors off until one day, we really gave them something to talk about.

Rumor Going 'Round the third book in the Lyrics and Love Series by author Samantha Lind, of who I am a huge fan and is pretty much an auto buy author for me.  I loved the first two books in the series - Marry Me and Drunk Girl, and this one was also one I loved. The books are not connected to each other but rather to songs and this one is the Lee Brice's song.

In this story we meet Lindsay and Tucker, who live in a small southern town and have known each other forever. They are friends and they share friends and fun nights out on the town. Tucker is also a single dad to an adorable little girl who he had with a friends with benefits friend who is now married to another guy. So there are no ex drama in this story.

The two really like each other and want more and so finally Tucker asks Linds out and they start getting to know each other romantically. It was a wonderful story with family and friends and finding love with a friend who you grew up with and I loved the southern backdrop of a small town and that this story takes place around the holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This story is loosely connected to the authors other series as Lindsay is cousin to Reese who is married to Austin from the Indianapolis Eagles series book 5, Against the Boards. If you love Reese and Austin, they visit during the holidays in this story.
