This was an awesome romance that I was waiting a while for. It stars Jillian's twin sister, Julia who is married to Max and Allison's son Michael Horton and it pairs her with Chase Grant who is the son of Matthew and Karrie.
Julia is a social worker and Chase is a doctor. They both are close friends as well as related by marriage, so they have known each other for years. In this book Julia gets into major trouble when she tries to help a young woman and her two-year-old. LOTS!! and she needs her family to help her.
This opens Chases eyes, and we see as will his whole family how he really feels about Julia. And Julia has crushed on Chase a while but knows anything more than friendship can make her life very complicated.
This was a fast-paced story with lots and lots of drama. A who's the daddy? mystery and an adorable two-year-old. And we get to see Julia and Chase fall for each other. I loved this story SO much.

This is Wolf and Scarlett's story, and I was so looking forward to watching these two ride off into the sunset together after meeting them in the previous book, The Long Shot.
These two have a huge attraction to each other and they also have a very strong connection and love. They met each other as teens and fell hard for each other but they have never been able to make it work because of their very intense careers and their stubborn personalities. The truth is these two are so alike and Wolf thinks he wants a stay-at-home type, yet he can't let Scarlett go. Scarlett has some big dreams, but she also loves Wolf so much and has a hard time letting him go as well.
Things change in a big way when Scar finds herself pregnant and Wolf and her are able to spend quality time together in Florida, which is where his hockey team currently plays. One really awesome feature in this book is we get to see Remy and Noelle from the authors previous book, "Knight Before Christmas." They actually play a big part in this book, and I loved catching up with them. In addition, we also meet a 10-year-old girl who I totally fell in love with.
This book has angst and drama. It is NOT a light read but it was a really awesome story that you can tell the author poured her heart into. There are some heavy topics that occur in this book, and you will laugh, and you will cry and most of all you will fall in love with this very complicated couple.

This is the start of the authors Football series. It is one I have been really excited to read because we have seen glances of the team and players in other books in the authors previous series.
Lee Burrows is a character that I met in "Offside with #55" where we met Kane Burrows, Lee's older brother. There is also a prequel to this book called False Start where we meet a younger Shayna and Lee, and we find out exactly what he did to her and why she HATES him.
In this book everyone has graduated, and Shayna has gotten her dream job as an Athletic Trainer for the San Franscisco Kingsmen Football Team. It just so happens that is the same one as her nemesis, Lee Burrows works for as their star quarterback.
This is a story about growing up, moving on and forgiveness. Lee is not a bad guy, but he did a bad thing and it really hurt and humiliated Shayne. He has tried to apologize for years to her and when she ends up getting a job on his team, he is hoping for forgiveness and maybe a second shot with Shayna.
Shayna is one tough cookie and I loved that she makes Lee really work for his apology and a maybe second chance. But things are not as simple as in college, now they are in the adult world and have to follow rules by the team and one is a very strict non fraternization clause. This is my first time reading this author and I loved this story so much. It had a jerk of a guy named Declan who is a fabulous lawyer and an awesome intern by the name of Hannah Dalton.
She is in her early 20's and he is 32. She is the cousin to his friends who run their own law firm called the Dalton Group. When Declan is unhappy at his current law firm he decides to accept an offer from his friends who run the Dalton Group. On his first day he is told he will get an intern and it turns out to be this woman he cannot stop thinking about. Hannah met Declan and was in lust very fast until he disappeared on her and so she is trying super hard to hate him for how he treated her.
This story has an age gap, a forbidden type of relationship and Hannah tries super hard to hate Declan. Meanwhile Declan tries super hard to just lust for her and resist her attraction because he knows her cousins would not want him with her.
This story stands alone very easily. It was a HOT romance with lots of sex scenes. I did not love how Declan treats Hannah for at least the first 50% of the book. One thing I really liked is that this story is low on drama, and we never see either of them with other partners. What we do see is how they want only to be with each other even though it will complicate their lives.

In this book we meet baker, Merry and her assistant, Beckett. They both were awesome characters and have a crush on each other. When a storm hits the town, they spend time together without interruptions and things take a very hot turn.
