This is a forbidden romance between Bowie who is also black and his best friend, brother from another mother teammate and roommate, Ben's baby sister, Piper.

Ben ends up sick and having surgery around the time that Piper is moving in with her brother and Bowie. She also has been in love with Bowie since she was a kid and now, she sees it as the perfect chance to explore those feelings.

He has always told his friends and teammates that she was in the no go zone and so Bowie tries his best to avoid her. What makes this story different is that Ben thinks his sister is a big mess and so the forbidden thing is not to protect her but to protect his friends from her flightiness.
