This series is about the Cove family of mostly doctors except for Nathan who dropped out of law school. This is Zach Cove's story, and he has four brothers and a cousin, two who are married and had stories in other books.

Nathan is married to Madison (Private Player)

Vincent's book is coming in Dr CEO - he is a cousin but is treated like a brother and is American.

In this book we learn a lot about Zach, he is called Dr Perfect by his family and brothers because they really think he is perfect. But as you know no one is perfect and his big imperfection is that he hates being a doctor. He dreams of being a mystery writer instead.

When Zach decides to leave his hospital he makes up a story about going into private practice. It's a way to make it look like he is running a medical office but with no patients it gives him lots of time to write his book. The only issue is that he hired Ellie as his office manager..

Ellie needs to keep her job for 19 months. She dreams of being a cook and wants to go to school to make her dream happen. So, she strives to be the best assistant to Zach while he tries to avoid patients and write his book.

This book was a lot of fun. I LOVE the Cove brothers and their parents, and in this story, we see how supportive they are of each other especially Nathan. 

In addition, I loved how frustrated Ellie gets at getting paid to do well NOTHING. I totally giggled at how perplexed she gets with Zach. 

Things get intense between these two when Ellie has to bring a document to Zach in Scotland and then ferry schedules and a winter storm makes them spend a lot of time together. This time together was really something that benefitted both characters and showed them they have to follow their career dreams.
