This is a second chance best friends to lovers romance. In this book we get to know rocker Greyson and the woman he loves, Fallon.

Fallon and Grey grew up as next-door neighbors and had a secret friendship. They were both wealthy, but his dad was abusive, and Fallon's family treated her like a princess and planned every detail of her life and Grey was not someone they wanted for Fallon. She had a twin brother, and he was Greyson's best friend until there is a tragic accident.

In this book Fallon is on a journey of self-discovery. She is free of her parents' rules and obligations for the first time ever. She wants to find out who she really is. Grey has loved Fallon for years and he comes along to help her see that the woman he loves is really awesome. I loved how in touch he was with his feelings for Fallon and how well he expresses those feelings and is always there for her no matter what.

This was a wonderful story, and I adored these two. They both are great characters with great hearts and who really see each other. I loved that Fallon grew to be so strong and stopped being manipulated and she learned to fight for herself and the life she wants to lead. I loved that Grey knew how to stand back and watch and support her while letting her find her inner strength.
