This was a very different runaway bride story with Ruby and Callum, and it was a lot of fun with Dolly her Emu. In this story we get to know Callum Landmark, the grumpy, serious, rancher brother. He takes in his neighbors' niece as she is a runaway bride who also has a pet Emu.

As these two get to know each other they become friends and then something more. But Ruby has left a lot of loose ends when she did her runaway bride thing. In addition, there is something not quite right with her ex. 

This was a really awesome story. Ruby who has always been a bit different than everyone else finds a place she fits in and people who support her. I LOVED when they all come riding to her rescue and show her what real family is about.
