This is book 2 of a three-book series but it easily stands alone. This is also my first time reading this author and I really loved this story. It's an at work romance that takes place in London. It stars Jude and Lina. When he takes over his family's fashion magazine, she becomes his assistant.
Jude will get his grandfather's shares of the company if he can make the magazine succeed but if he doesn't his shares could end up in his father's hands. The father he hates and who hates him.
This is also a very forbidden romance. Lina and Jude have crushes on each other but there is a non-fraternizing clause that will mean booth will be fired and he will lose his company's shares, if he has a relationship with anyone at the magazine.
This was a story that I could not put down. I loved watching Lina and Jude become friends as they work together. I loved going along with them as they attended fashion week. I also loved all the jealous moments, learning about Lina and Jude's pasts and watching them fall in love.
They will have to choose between their hearts or heads in what they want their futures to be, and I was totally rooting for these two throughout the book.
