At the start of this book, the author states that this book was previously published as part of a novella in the Kristin Proby's Club Temptation universe but since Amazon did away with the books she renamed the characters and removed the Club's setting from this book. I have never read anything by this author and never read this book or a Club Temptation book either. I am a big fan of Kristin Proby and have loved her books.
This book was short, hot and very insta lusty with a set of awesome and sexy characters. It starts with a bad date from a dating app and that is how we meet Jessica and her very bad date. Luckily she is saved by her ex-boss, Hayes, who she interned with several years before.
Hayes is older than her and more well established and he had liked her when she interned but stayed away because he felt she was too young. Now she owns her own tech company and is older and he can no longer resist her.
This was a really fun story. Lots of sex scenes that are very hot. The plot is basically about them making a relationship work and the challenges that Jessica faces as she is a woman in Tech in a world that is run by men. I really enjoyed it and just wish it had been longer because I loved the chemistry between Hayes and Jessica.
