This is part of a two part story about Graham and Emery in a surprise baby and brothers best friend romance. It is part of a series but also stands alone. Emery is Reed's younger sister and Graham is his best friend and teammate. You can get Reed's story in Change on the Fly starring him and Emery's best friend Holland.
While it ends with a tiny cliff hanger about the future, its not really a cliff for Em and Graham's relationship. So if you hate cliff hangers, don't worry you will see that Em and Graham's storyline is more of a happy for now ending with more of a cliff about their future rather than their actual romance.
In this story Em is 24 and a college graduate with a law degree and a good job at a law firm. Graham is a hockey player on her brothers team and also one of his very close friends. At the beginning of the story Em hates Graham for something he said to Briggs years before that hurt her feelings. Meanwhile Graham has no idea why she hates him when he is totally crushing on her.
Em is not looking for a serious relationship and is 100% a career woman until she gets the flu and Graham takes care of her and that's when her life starts to change in a big way. I loved how into Em Graham was and how through everything he is 100% their fr her and so supportive.
Em I had a harder time liking because she is one tough cookie about Graham. I really liked how she opened her heart to him after giving some serious thought into what she wanted her future to be with him.
This was a light and fun read about crushing on brothers younger sister and brothers best friend. It has a surprise baby angle that had many surprises along the road to parenthood. I cannot wait to see what happens next for Em and Graham.
