This is the first book in a brand-new series by the author but it aso brings some characters that we have seen in the authors previous series to a new team and city, San Franscisco. It stars Ryker who is a single dad to a 14 year old daughter who has lived in San Franscisco with her mom until now,  when her mom gets a new job in a different city just as her dad moves to town and she decides to live with her dad in San Franscisco.

For Ryker his life has changed in many ways. He has a new city to live in, a new team, a new position on the team and a whole new set of teammates. In addition he finally gets to be a full time dad to his daughter and they get a new apartment to live in. He also gets a new neighbor in Avery and her cute dog Max. 

This story took some time to build but once it got going it was a fun, hot and sexy romance with a sweetheart of a woman, Ryker's awesome teen daughter, and Ryker himself who finally finds the life he has wanted for years.

It was a fast paced story and I really adored getting to meet Ryker and Avery and watching them fall for each other. I loved this intro to the new team and cannot wait to read more in this series.
