BLURB
I’m pregnant with my neighbor’s baby, but here’s the kicker . . . we can’t stand each other.
It all started when my bathroom sprang a leak, and I booked short-term lodging in his vacant apartment.
Turns out, it wasn’t available . . . or vacant.
One big misunderstanding later, and he’s practically throwing me out like yesterday’s trash.
He might think his half-ass apology, devilish smirk, and alluring hazel eyes will get him back in my good graces, but he’d be sorely mistaken. Because I, Sita Stewart, am allured by no man! Not even if he comes in the sexiest, most deliciously infuriating, six-foot-two package with a checkered bow tie.
But when the tension between us threatens to cause a category five hurricane, I decide to put it to bed once and for all. Literally, figuratively, metaphorically . . . you get the picture.
And when the storm finally settles, I’m left with a case of morning sickness and a craving for more.
More of him.
Because underneath all the layers of grouchiness is a broken man I fear I’m falling for. A man who says he wants me and our little bean sprout, too.
But right when Mr. P. Cooke gives me a glimpse of the life I’ve always wanted, his past comes tearing in like a tornado, ready to cause devastation.
The question is, can we survive it?

AUTHOR BIO
I prefer to call myself a storyteller rather than an author. I'm a mom to two beautiful little girls and a wife to an incredibly supportive husband. My days start with caffeine and sometimes end with a glass (or three) of wine.
I'm a Texas raised Indian American currently living in the Bay Area. With a degree in Computer Science and an MBA, I've had a successful career building software products but writing is both my hobby and my passion.
For me, writing and reading are an escape from real life. I love meeting and creating characters who I'd love to take out for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. My goal as a storyteller is to distract my readers from their daily grind with stories about everyday couples finding and fighting for incredible love with the help of a little luck.
I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a story about two neighbors, Sita and Penn who find love while living next door. It had some surprises along the way and some I liked and some I did not but overall, I really enjoyed this story.
If I were going to characterize it I would probably say its an enemies who find love together. But it starts out with a big crush on Sita's side that gets a bit out of control and then goes wrong and then goes right and then life gets in the way. But I loved how they form a team of sorts and I loved the strength of the team when Penn really needs it.
Sita meets her new neighbor she forms a crush on P. Cooke (Penn) but he can barely look at her. Then Penn ends up being forced to see her and he likes what he sees but he also ends up making her think he is a huge jerk and so then he has to try and get her to give him a chance.
Penn and Sita have a very complicated neighbor relationship and then she ends up pregnant which makes things even more complicated for Penn. He has some big secrets and when they explode he has issues on how he deals with it.
I loved Sita she is one tough cookie but throughout everything she has Penn's back. Even when I felt she was justified in letting him go it alone, she is there for him and she was simply amazing. She really seemed to get Penn and at times I felt she was a little too good for him.
This was a really well written story. It deals with issues relating to fertility, death, surprise baby, adoption, family and love. It had characters I loved and it was a really original and unique story with amazing characters.
