This is the start of a new series and it's SO good. It stars the Carter Brothers who are connected to the authors Circus series. Their sister, Ande, married Keene in the last book in that series.
Quincy is a cop and Hollis is well, I am not sure what to call her. She works at the hospital as a radiology tech, and she actually helped save Quincy's brother in the Circus series. So, she definitely knows Ande who is Quincy's sister. She also is having a rough time as her best friend kills herself after a terrible accident and then a very mean comic humiliates her. After that Hollis out to get him and that's when Quincy starts popping up everywhere.
These two are very hot and sexy together but it's a slow burn book as it takes a while for the hot stuff to get there. It's also an opposites type of romance as Hollis is the bad girl and Quincy the good guy. He doesn't want her to end up in jail, so he starts watching her VERY closely and that was a lot of fun for her, him and well me. It was really a lot of fun.
This book did have some very sad moments, but it also had humor, family, romance, hotness and friendship. I loved it so much and cannot wait for more Carter brothers to find their ONE!
