This was such an awesome book. This series has been great but this story really stood well by itself, but it also is a story about crossroads, redemption, changing one's life and second chances, not so much romance wise but in life. 

In this book we meet Daisy. She has a horrible ex, and a great business idea and also a very bad family reputation. Her family is awesome, and they are respected in the community, but they are also feared and that is because they run a funeral home. So, while she has this great idea, it might go nowhere because of who her family is, in her small town.

Enter Miles who is sober about nine months. He is business with his sister-in-law and is newly sober, so he is not looking for a connection or romance.  But then Daisy is referred to him for business idea and he wants to help her and so they become partners of sorts. 

Because of her family's bad rep, he decides she should fake date him so she can drum up business without them noticing her last name. Does it work? Well, you will have to read the book to find out.

Daisy and Miles find something they never expected to as they work together and fake date. I loved how all his friends and family get involved and I adored the way that Daisy has his back and supports him.
