ABOUT THE BOOK
It’s not every day the woman who broke your heart asks to be your wife.
Life is good. I’m single. I’m an emergency room doctor. And according to my hookups, I’m hot AF.
Then she walks back into my life.
I haven’t seen Mazzy Pembrooke since the night she betrayed me. So when she comes into my work asking me to make good on a childhood pact and marry her, I’m speechless.
She’s the last woman I’d want to marry—even if it’s pretend and with a definitive end date.
But after I find myself in a sticky situation at work, marrying Mazzy might just benefit me too.
Once we’re living as husband and wife under the same roof though, I struggle to remember that I hate this woman and the fake marriage doesn’t feel so fake anymore.
Don’t Mind if “I Do” is a fake marriage, friends to enemies to lovers rom-com loaded with laughs. No cheating. HEA.

I loved this book so much. If you have read this author before odds are you read her Love in Apartment 3B series and in the first book in the series, Hit or Miss, we meet Gemma and Ollie and Ollie's fellow doctor friend Nick. Well this is Nick's story. It is a standalone story but takes place in the 3B world and all the characters from that series are included in this story.
In this story we get a bit of a backstory on Ollie and Nick as they both grew up with Mazzy, even though they are two years older than her. We learn a lot about her family and a lot about Nick's family and especially his brother, Keith.
Keith and Nick had a bit of hate for each other since they were children and that includes when they were school and as well currently. Keith was the apple of his dads eye and Nick was the bad seed. Mazzy adored Nick. He was her best friend and while they never really dated, they always knew that they loved each other.
Until something happened with Keith, Mazzy and Nick and he told her he would hate her forever and to never contact him again. That is until it becomes very important for Mazzy to get married and she asks Nick to honor his once upon a time deal to marry when they are 30.
And so starts their marriage of convenience and I loved how cute they are together. The big betrayal with Mazzy and Keith, honestly I thought it would be awful but it was barely anything. (I can't tell you what it is because its a huge spoiler). My personal opinion was that Nick was not ready for a relationship with Mazzy and so he used the bad moment as a way to put distance between himself and Mazzy.
Now years later they are ready for each other and so while married they discover who they are together as adults. I loved how honest they are as grown adults and I loved watching them discover each other as adults and well I loved the scene with Keith, when Nick shows him up.
This was absolutely awesome story by itself as a stand alone but if you love the 3B series well then you will adore this story.
