The Butterfly Effect by Kelly Elliott is now live!
ABOUT THE BOOK
The butterfly effect -- one small change,
one moment in time that impacts the future.
At twenty-six years old I never dreamed I'd walk in on my husband in bed with my best friend. At twenty-seven years old I found myself divorced, and the mother of a one-year-old son. Never mind I was learning to take the reins of my family's apple orchard business. There was no way my life could be any more complicated...or so I thought.
Can a woman who's lost all trust in men help a man who can't even trust himself?
Aiden O'Hara was my brother's best friend, and I would be remiss if I said I hadn't always found him utterly attractive--and the passing of time or circumstances didn't change that. But when he moves back to Boggy Creek Valley after serving his time as a Navy SEAL, I cannot deny the pull I feel between us.
Aiden is haunted by his own demons--demons that seem bigger than the both of us--and my heart warns me to stay away. I'd been burned already and didn't need that added complication in my life, or so I thought. But one moment in time changes everything between us, and neither one of us can deny the hidden feelings we share.
Our pasts want to keep us apart...our future will be up to the wings of fate.
The Butterfly Effect is book one in the Boggy Creek Valley series and is a stand-alone novel.

This is a brand new series and this is the first book in the series and I am in love. I cannot wait for more books in this series. This first book is a second chance at love and features, Aiden, a former military seal who is now retired and has moved back home and suffers from PTSD. Willa is the girl that fell in love with him as a teen and is now a single mom and is divorced from her ex.
Aiden was Willa's brothers best friends and he is 3 years older than her. Nine years before they shared a kiss and then he left for the military. They both loved each other but Aiden knew how much she loved her home town and didn't want to take her away from everything she loved so he never told her how he felt.
Years later she dated, married and gave birth to Ben her now one year old son. Now she is divorced and Aiden has quit the military and so they both want to see if they can be together. I loved that we didn't see much of her ex. I also loved that we don't see too much of Aiden's exes either. I also loved that they both felt pretty much the same about each other but it just wasn't their time until now. I also loved that Willa didn't wait for Aiden and that she dated and met other guys and even married someone else. I felt that really helped Aiden realise that he needed to work hard for her heart.
This story is primarily about their second chance but also PTSD is a huge part of their story. I loved how Willa asked for help and she shared what she was told to do with us, the readers and Aiden. This aspect of the story was awesome and very realistic and I really loved it.
The story takes place in a small town called Boggy Creek and Willa's family runs a local apple orchard. Aiden's family runs the local construction company and he goes to work for his family business when he comes back to town. More books in the series will focus on family and friends who live in Boggy Creek that we are introduced in this story.
