This book is told in separate parts. It stars Swayze, a lawyer and Trick, a bar owner who ended up in jail. Part one (first 5 chapters) is their meeting when she is 17 and he 21 and the events that lead up to him getting jailed for manslaughter. 

Part two picks up after she is a lawyer and 12 years later when Trick is finally freed from jail. And that's when Lynn and the guys and the Souls Chapel Revenants MC enter this story.

This was an awesome story, its hot and romantic and very much about two soulmates who meet and fall hard and end up split up for 12 years but who are very devoted to each other through those 12 years and beyond. They end up living in the same city and as hard as they try to avoid each other, they cannot. 

As you know in any Vale book their is some bad people after our heroine and/or hero and  some bad things that happen. I am not spoiling who and what that is but I enjoyed the bit of crazy and drama we see in this story and how Trick and Swayze beat the them and get justice for human trafficking. 

We also get to see Lynn, Six, Beck and the rest of the guys. I loved how they take Swayze under their wing and protect her from the bad guys. Trick was pretty awesome too and I loved his tough guy image but inside he is one big teddy bear for Swayze.

Hunt is next and I cannot wait!!
