This book was absolutely fantastic. I just wished that it was longer. I really wanted to see their future but I guess we will see that in future books.
This is Jordan Wrights book. Three years before he made a huge mistake with someone he met at a party in Texas, Annie when he had a one night stand with her.
You can read about the one night stand in the prequel to this book in ONE WRIGHT STAND but some things happen after the one night that is not included in that book and will be shared in this book.
At the time he was living in Vancouver so they thought it would be only one night but he ended up moving to Annie's town and he did something horrible to her and so she has hated him for over three years. The problem is that they live in a small town and share many friends and aquaintances so they run into each other a lot,Annie is in medical school and she is celebrating being a teacher when Jordan helps her out in a big way which opens up communication between these two enemies.
But Annie has a residency to work and she plans to leave her town and discover the world and so anything that happens with them is very temporary.
Buy Jordan has waited 3 years and so he grabs his chance with Annie and well thats when this book gets interesting.
The author did an amazing job telling this story. I loved how she set it up in 5 parts. The entire book is 40 chapters and an epilogue but each section is about 8 chapters. It was a wonderful way to tell this story and I loved this book so much.
And Jordan and Annie are amazing couple who are really awesome characters. They both really like and lust for each other but they also are very sure what they want and thats each other. At times I felt Jordan really needed help learning to communicate better.
I absolutely adored this book so much. It was fun and had some humor and I loved the close friends and family aspect of the story. Its also a stand alone book as I have only read two of the Wright Brother's books.
