Forever Enough - Love in Montana #6 - by Kelly Elliott (Bradly and Mackenzie)

BLURB

Not long out of college, Mackenzie Reeves has found herself halfway across the country, relocated from Atlanta, Georgia, to small-town Hamilton, Montana. But it’s not just a fresh start—it’s an escape. For years, she’s been trying to steer clear of the abusive stepfather who’s made her life hell and turned her mother into someone she doesn’t recognize. Now, on Dirk and Merit Littlewood’s gorgeous farm, she’s found a bit of peace. Until a certain dimpled, dark-eyed handsome devil walks into her barn and changes her life with a single look.

Not quite twenty-four, and champion bull rider Bradly Littlewood already feels twice his age. He loves the sport, but between the politics, the lonely nights, missing his family…his heart and head are no longer in the game. And when he’s home for the holidays, surrounded by cousins who’ve married and started their own families, he can add jealousy to the mix. He’s missed so much, and he wants what they have. Turns out, one unplanned stop at the family barn and he may have found it…in the form of a pajama-clad angel, singing and dancing for a captive audience of farm animals.

Mackenzie and Bradly’s instant smolder in the barn becomes a blazing wildfire within days, surprising everyone. Both their futures are uncertain for very different reasons. But their love? That’s rock solid. Beyond a doubt.

A love so strong, so unbreakable, even forever isn’t enough.

The author suggests you read the books in order for a better reading experience.

This is Bradley's story. He is the brother of Avery and the son of Dirk and Merit. (From Strong Enough)In this story he is paired with Mackenzie/Mac, who works on his families farm.

Mac is 23 and Bradly is 24, she escaped a bad situation when she turned 18 and has been running and hiding since. It lands her working on B's families farm and they meet on a cold Christmas Eve. For B its love/lust at first sight and for Mac she enjoys getting to know this special guy and his family.

This is pretty much a crossroads kind of story. B has to decide if he wants to continue bull riding and traveling or if he is ready to settle down like he has watched his family and friends do. He has to make some major decisions about what his next step would be and that's when he meets Mac.

When Mac meets B, she has never allowed anyone but her sister into her heart and she needs to decide if she can trust in love, family and friends and open her heart. For her its about growing, maturing and letting the past go and finding a new future. I loved Mac, she had so much strength and courage. I loved her and B together.

FREE IN KU! A FEARLESS MEMORY - Oil Knights #4 - by Marie Johnston (Vienne & Austen )

Why you need to #ONECLICK this book:

🔥Neighbors to Lovers

🔥Small Town Romance

🔥Single Mom

🔥Best Friend’s Brother

ABOUT THE BOOK

The only thing I admire more than the old farmhouse next door is the guy who owns it. My best friend’s brother.

I didn't mean to give my hot neighbor a full peep show when my puppy locks me outside in nothing but a towel. Yet Austen Knight pretends he didn’t see everything and offers me an interior design job—help him renovate the farmhouse I’ve adored since I was a kid.

I’m a single mom trying to run a business in a small town. I can’t be alone with Austen day in and day out without igniting rumors that could hurt the career I’ve worked so hard for. But I need the money, and he’s leaving after the house is done and goes on the market.

Turns out, renovating with him is fun. Working with him is addicting. And I look forward to our cold beer together after a long day. When works turns to pleasure, I should put a stop to what we’re doing, it’s not professional, but I can’t.

Austen reignites something in me that I left behind long ago. He’s become so much more than my friend’s brother and my neighbor, but he’s going to be gone soon. Guys always leave in the end. I’ll be a struggling single mom again, and he’ll be nothing but a fearless memory.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Meet Marie Johnston

Marie Johnston is a RITA® Finalist, and a best-selling and award-winning writer of paranormal and contemporary romance – and an avid reader of them both.

Several years ago, when kids started outnumbering adults in the house, Marie Johnston left her job as a public health microbiologist to stay at home. Settling into working part-time and shuttling kids around gave Marie the opportunity to think about what she wanted to be when she grew up. A die-hard science geek, she explored her previously thought to be non-existent creative side after much time spent making snowman crafts and coloring princesses. Having entertained thoughts of writing a book one day then subsequently deciding it would be too hard, she finally put the figurative pen to paper and began to type – and fell in love with story telling.

The Sigma Menace is the first series by Marie with Fever Claim being her first book EVER.  She is humbled by the fact that people are willing to read to her books and looks forward to keeping readers entertained for many years.

Marie lives with her husband and four kids in North Dakota where the summers are gorgeous, the winters are brutal, and spring and fall are luxuries.

Austen is a new character in this series as he is related to the Oil Knights, he has been in the military and is just now back. So, we as readers have just met him. He is retired and is trying to rebuild this old farmhouse so he can resell it before he moves to California for a security job with some of his military buddies.

V is a single mom to a daughter, and she has had some sexual relationships that have embarrassed her daughter. Namely to Dr. Wyatt the town casual sex vet doctor. She is also friends with the Oil Knights women, and so all this happened in a previous book. She is trying to be better than that and make her daughter proud. So, when Austin moves next door and is super sexy, she tries to avoid him. All this becomes very hard when he wants to hire her to help him renovate his house next door.

Both V and Austin are around the same age but it's a bit of forbidden as V is trying to go for a guy who wants a relationship, so she doesn't embarrass her daughter again. Meanwhile Austen is only wanting casual, he plans to leave town.

When V needs to make money to pay for her daughter's camp she has to take Austen's job and so the very hot attraction develops. Can she resist her sexy next-door neighbor that she works with and is the brother of her best friends when she will see him at family events? And did I mention their bedrooms look into each other's windows.

If you are thinking this book sounds hot, well yes, it is. These two have lots of sex fun. Some even from their bedrooms with each other. So, if you like a spicier book and less of a plot, then you will love this book.

This was a good story and I really enjoyed getting to know Austen. I really didn't connect very well with Vienne. Her behavior with Wyatt in other books did not make me like her very much. In this book she was okay, but I didn't always understand her behavior. I have loved other books in this series more than this book. But I did like Austen and getting to know him and his backstory.

If you want a lot of spice and low drama or angst, then I think you will really enjoy this romance.

ABOUT THE BOOK

There are many reasons I should have handed in my resignation the day I met my new boss, Hudson Case.

First off, he’s the reason I lost my first waitressing job. Secondly, he’s gruff, grumpy, and another inconvenient g-word . . . gorgeous.

And to top it off, he’s my good friend’s dad.

Oh, and did I mention, he’s also my new roommate? Yeah, we’ll get to that in a sec.

And to top it off, he’s my good friend’s dad.

Oh, and did I mention, he’s also my new roommate? Yeah, we’ll get to that in a sec.

It all started when I begged my friend to get me a temp position working as her dad’s admin until my big move at the end of summer. Little did I know, her dad was the same jerk who callously fired me from my previous waitressing gig.

He says I’m a walking migraine and a thorn in his side. So when I threaten to quit, why does his counteroffer include me moving in with him for business reasons?

But before we know it, we’re mixing business with pleasure.

A lot of pleasure.

Suddenly nothing feels temporary anymore. But it has to be, right?

Because one way or another, our time together is coming to an end.

I have read this entire series and love it so much. They are angsty romances and this one is even better because it's got a huge age gap, takes place at work and is a secret, forbidden romance between his new employee and his daughter's friend. If you are new to this series, its also a great book to start with because its

Very loosely connected to the series as we only see the other couples in the series a few times as they are friends of Hudson’s. I think this is the best book in the whole series so it’s a great book to start reading. It is told in dual POV, and I loved seeing into Hudson and Kavi’s heads.

In this book we get to know Hudson Case who at 17 had a daughter, Madison. Madison is now 29 and a college professor. Madison and Kavi are good friends and met in college. Kavi is a new graduate but very poor until she starts her dream job and so she needs a temp job. She asks Mad to ask her father for a job and that’s how Kavi ends up working for Hudson.

The book starts these two off as enemies as he got her fired at her last waitressing job at a restaurant he owns. But she never expected to end up crushing on the big jerk as she works for him, and he never expected to be so attracted to his new employee. In addition, they are not just connected through Madison but also, they become roomies. So, resisting each other becomes so much fun for the readers, not so much for Kavi and Hunter. I totally loved all the tropes the author ends up using in this book and I loved the dual points of view, so we get to hear what they are feeling.

This story has a huge age gap, she is 24 to his 46 but in all honesty its not a big deal in this book. They are book adults and Kavi is a driven and mature woman and Hudson grew up fast when he had a baby at age 17. The secret romance and hiding it from his daughter and Kavi’s friend was more center stage in this book than the age gap. I also loved seeing them work together and really start falling for each other.

Catalyst - Meadow Lake #1 - by Emma Nichole (Brynne and Mason)

BLURB

Mason Shaw.

He’s exactly what I want and need in a man. He’s also off-limits as the father of one of my students.

I didn’t expect to be wildly attracted to him the moment he walked into my classroom.

Nor was I even looking for this type of… connection.

I’m only supposed to share my mind and knowledge as his son’s teacher. Not my body as his lover.

I’m a professional. Surely I can resist his perfect, blue eyes, work-calloused hands, and that deep timbre in his voice.

Having a temporary tryst with a single father is one thing.

Falling in love with him is another thing entirely.

Especially when I know for certain I can’t give him what he wants, or needs, in life

I want to be his.
I want to explore this.

I just don’t know if he’ll want me when he finds out how broken I truly am.

Catalyst is a single father/elementary school teacher small town romance.
It’s book 1 of the Meadow Lake Series but can be read as a complete standalone.

AUTHOR BIO

After years of living vicariously through so many characters and stories created by others, Emma Nichole has taken the plunge herself.

A southern girl born, raised, and still residing in Tennessee, she holds the quirks of this area of the world close to her heart, and showcases it in her writing.

She's a wife, a mother of two, an avid college football fan (Go Vols), a best friend, a sister, a lover of all music, movies, and above all else... a lover of books.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have never read this author before, But wow this book was SO good. I will definitely be reading the next book in this series because I have fallen hard for the small town of Meadow Lake and the characters.

In this book we meet Brynn, a school teacher with an awesome family but who is single. We also meet Levi, a student of hers with a very HOT and single dad, Mason Shaw. There is a bit of insta lust in this story and I loved these twos connection.

There are some more serious subjects in this book like infertility and how it has affected Brynne and how she views her place in her family. In addition, Mason's ex died at childbirth, and it was a very hard time for him.

This was a great story, and I really loved the characters. There are some really great and hot scenes between Mason and Brynne. If you love single dad, small town romances then this was a really great one.
