If you read Just Getting Started then you know the beginning of Colt’s story. In that story, Chase is told he had a one night stand and the result is a baby. He is in love with someone else and they both fall for the baby, Milo but it is discovered that it is not Chase's child but rather his brother, Colton's and so Colt decides to leave the military to raise his son, Milo.
In this story, he has a new house and a new job and a baby. He needs help paying the rent so he gets a new roomie, Hollis, who he thinks is a HE but she is a SHE instead and so starts this fun romance between a new daddy and landlord and his new tenant.
Hollis, is new to town and she has an attraction to Colt and she falls pretty hard for Milo. They really try hard to fight the attraction but well thats when the fun starts.
This was a wonderful third story in the series but I really think you should read Just Getting Started before you read this story. In fact I went back and re-read that story before I read this book because I wanted to remember everything that led to this story.
