Charlie has moved home to Chicago and has gotten a job as an IT specialist in the Candy Company that Connor runs. They meet on her first day but she doesn't realise who he is and she intrigues him with her ideas about the company.
He wants her to work in marketing but she doesn't have any experience and so she agrees to work extra hours to help him come up with some marketing ideas. And that's who they start getting to know each other but Connor is only in town for a few weeks. He is going back to NYC so they have to try and make it work,
This is a story about finding yourself and being true to yourself and your dreams and letting no one stop you. Not even your pre-conceived ideas. Its about friendship, love and family and seeing that relationships can change and maybe you don't always see the full picture at first and sometimes you have to look again.
I absolutely loved this story and all the characters and I hope the author makes this into a series because I loved Charlie's friend and Connors brother.
