This is a standalone contemporary rock star romance written in Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s Cocky Hero world and stars Eva and Jace. Jace is the rockstar and Eva works for his agent as an assistant. He has left her in charge of Jace's rock band and thats hw the two meet.
Jace falls into insta love but she feels too old to fall for another rocker but Jace is also not one to give up.
This is a romance with an older couple. Jace is 38 in the story. I estimated Eva at around 35. She has two teenage boys who are age 18 and it is said she got pregnant around age 17. However she never actually states her age.
Her ex is a drug addicted rock star who humiliated her and so she is very resistant to Jace because she does not want a rockstar life. But Jace knows his heart and he wants her no matter what.
I adored this story. It was sweet, hot and romantic and so much fun. I loved meeting Jace's family and especially his sister. Eva was such a great character, sweet, tough and a fighter.
