This is book 2 in a series and there appears to be one more book coming to the series. Each book stands alone and is also about a different couple. The series is called Off Limits and the first book was called Until You and starred Aria and Grayson, Aria is Dr. Grants younger sister and Grayson was his older best friend.
In this story Dr Noah Grant is the main character and his off limits co-star is Amara Astor. She is off limits to him because he is employed by her grandfather, he is a doctor at the college Amara attends as a PHD student and she first met him when she was a patient at his clinic.
Amara really LIKES Noah but her grandfather is offering him some amazing opportunities and if she dates him, he will lose those chances for advancement. However these two are majorly attracted and sorta become friends who majorly have the hots for each other. They both are possessive, in lust, jealous and are very passionate about each other.
This book seemed to me to sorta be like the old fashioned gothic romances. Where there were hidden motives and secrets and that is a side plot in this story. Why is Harold Astor so interested in Noah? At times Charlotte Astor who is Amara's mom seemed really into Noah. I couldn't decide if she crushed on him or she knew his family or what that was about. And then there is the mysterious father who re-enters her life and gives her panic attacks. All these questions were answered by the end of the book and I am not spoiling any of it.
This story is very HOT. Its burn your kindle hot and I adored every moment of it. It also is a story about forgiveness, moving on and love and the power of love.
