I really enjoy the authors writing, she actually is one of my top authors that I love to read. But she doesn't just do romance, she does suspense, mystery, paranormal, so when I saw the description of this book it sounded more like suspense, which tends to not be my favorite. But it sounded intriguing so I decided to check it out and I am so happy I did.

This is a pure romance story between high school sweethearts, Zac who was a poor kid with big dreams and Clara who loved him so much but who came from a wealthy family.

In this story there is someone who works to keep them apart for 12 years but its more about not feeling that Zac was worthy of Clara than that it was sinister.

This story was really a fun romance with some poignant and sad moments as Clara's father is fighting Cancer. Things move very fast in this story once its in the present time because Clara's father is very ill. Its a story about fate, love, friendship, betrayal, forgiveness, revenge (in a really fun way), and soul mates.

It had some sad moments and lots of laughable moments. The best parts of the story are the scenes when Clara tries to get revenge on Zac and he tries to torture her. I really loved this story so much and it was a really awesome story that I am so glad I had the opportunity to check out.
