ABOUT THE BOOK
As third in line to the British throne, I have to behave a certain way. Do what I’m told. Put my best foot forward.
And I do it because I love my family, my country, and my work.
But when I meet the man of my dreams, and I’m told he’s off limits? I take matters into my own hands.
Secret dates. Covert meetings. I’ll do whatever it takes to be with the devilishly handsome man who has tunneled his way into my heart.
His touch. His smiles. The heat in his eyes when he looks at me.
We can’t last, sneaking around, avoiding anything and everything. The queen forbids it. I could lose everything.
But when he smiles at me like that?
What’s a princess supposed to do?

This is book 3 in a series about children and nieces of a queen in London. I have only read the second book and this story. It easily stands alone, though you should probably read the first book first as the first books couple is featured in this book a lot.
This is a romance between Pierce and Charlotte. Pierce is the brother to Sean, who is a tattoo artist who found love with Charlotte's cousin and who was in line to be queen but who abdicated when she fell in love with Sean in the first book.
In this book Charlotte's cousin is pregnant and she asks Pierce and Charlotte to be godparents and that gets Charlotte and Pierce an opportunity to get to know each other.
This is a forbidden romance as the queen forbids Charlotte to date Pierce because she fears Charlotte might abdicate as well.
I enjoyed this story but I need to warn you that this book has LOTS of hot times and its in detail. I personally enjoy hot times and reading about them, but in this story I felt there was way too many of these scenes. There is a plot to this story in that Charlotte and Pierce need to find out how to get the queen to accept them as a couple. But a majority of the book were hot scenes. So be warned.
